This session is an in-depth look into the building information modeling (BIM) design platform developed by ESD and how it relates to forward progress in the Facilities Management sector. BIM has taken the design industry by storm, but what does BIM really mean and how do we leverage these new technologies to streamline our design process? Mr. Karnatz will speak about BIM and how it enables the creative process to better the working relationship between architects and engineers in order to form lasting partnerships. This exciting process is changing the way we approach the design of a building, namely from a disjointed process to an integrated solution with all teams contributing to the final building design.
